The Post

LinkedIn post March 2026 GitHub Copilot CLI (Claude Opus 4.6)

This is an AI-generated post, and an experiment with a small tool I built as a side project.

Most of us use AI to help write things now. The outputs are fine, sometimes generic, but they get the job done. And nobody’s going to start publishing their prompt history alongside every email they send.

But sometimes I’m curious about the back-and-forth that produced something rather than the finished version. The rejected first draft, the specific detail someone pulled from memory, the mid-conversation pivot when they realized what they actually wanted to say.

So I built a small thing that shows that layer. You paste one prompt at the end of any AI conversation and it produces a document with your prompts and steering inline with the finished text, so a reader can peel back each paragraph and see the unique human factor underneath.

This post was written that way. You’re looking at it.

I’m curious whether there’s a time and place for this sort of thing, where showing how you got to the final version would actually be worth sharing.
